Summary
An agoraphobic artist, Miko, mistakes the stunning Kaida
to be her new carer and model. Kaida, however, is on the
run and accepts the unexpected invitation into Miko’s
life, settling into the role quickly and comfortably.
So content is she in this new home, away from the world,
that she decides to murder the real carer that suddenly
turns up. Taking her into the garden, she calmly stabs
the carer and digs a grave while she slowly bleeds to
death.
The drawing sessions start and Miko grows enamoured of
the beautiful Kaida. But we learn more of Kaida’s
horrific and bloody past and it is obvious that Miko’s
ignorance will not last - particularly when two private
investigators turn up at her door asking about a ‘gorgeous
femme fatale type...’
Beautiful, tense and romantic - with asides to the reunion
of Kaida and her long-lost brother (an important public
idol; now dead) and the two men looking for his murderer.
This film has all the makings of a titillating and tantalising
thriller... combining originality with some classic suspenseful
and mysterious scenes, threads and techniques.
