Introduction
In a country obsessed with ganster, rom-com, period drama and
gritty horror (and an apparent phobia of psychological thrillers,
sci-fi and fantasy), we hope that “Kaida’s Peace”
will stand out and even open a new door for film-makers to exlore
other genres.
The film has been in development for a year and is in its final
draft. Preproduction has begun. We have our core crew and are
in the process of casting the two female leads. The response
to the script so far has been excellent on all levels and we
expect the film will be well received at European film festivals.
As soon as the film is completed, we will enter it into a few
key festivals and hopefully land a small distribution deal (perhaps
a minor theatrical release followed by a DVD/VHS release). We
want to secure a sales agent even before production begins to
give the film a secure financial footing from the start.
Fund-raising is the major issue we are now tackling - government,
lottery and public funding offer avenues, as do pre-sales and
private investment. To top-up funds we will also look into sponsorship
and product placement.

general please
