Story

Andrew’s parents are arrested while on a quiet family holiday in the south of Spain. He’s asked to remain there, in Castell de Ferro, while the investigation is carried out. While spending a few lonely days wondering in the small fishing village he notices a Chinese girl who seems to also be traveling alone.

Ting-Ting has come to the out of the way village to escape torment from an obsessive recent former lover, but a Chinese girl stands out in this kind of place. These two young characters befriend one another and eventually become inseparable.

But the tide begins to turn as Andrew discovers the Spanish police know nothing of his parents arrest. Two Dutch investigators suddenly turn up at his parent’s Spanish home and ask some puzzling questions regarding an incident in Holland. They have somehow been associated with this. They’re currently being held prisoners and being probed for information in Greenwich, England.

Ting-Ting agrees to go back to England with him to find out what’s happening and to help his parents escape. She has secrets of her own that change the course of events in this beautiful and stylized mystery-romance.
